Krishna Preetha

Blessed with an inborn flair for dancing and innate sense of rhythm, R. Krishna Preetha started learning bharathanatyam from an early age of seven. She is an ardent disciple of Guru Kalaimamani Smt.Charulatha Jayaraman. Right from her arangetram, she has been participating in various solo and group performances with her guru.
"Durgashtami festival" Chottanikarai, Rasa Arangam-Kapaleeshwarar Temple-Chennai, "Navarathiri Festival"-Thiruvanaikovil, VDS Arts Academy-Chennai; "Dasara Dance Festival" -Naradha Gana Sabha, Chennai,"Natyanjali" Chidambaram, R.R Sabha- Trichy, Centenary Celebrations of Brahma Swarupini Trust- Srirangam, Hanuman Jayanthi- Kumbakonam are some of her solo performances. Nrithya Mala- International Dance Alliance, Music Academy- Chennai,"Navarathri Festival" - Srilanka, LBSNAA- Lal Bahadur Sastri National Academy of Administration, Mussouri,SATTE-2002 South Asian Travel & Tourist Exchange, Delhi," Dhauli Mahotsav" -Orisssa,IGNFA- Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy, Deharadun, "Chittirai Festival" -Madurai,IICPT -Tanjore are some of her performances with her Guru.
A very passionate student of "Shrishti", Krishna Preetha assists in taking classes for students of Shrishti In India. She aspires to be a skillful Nattuvanar with the help of her Guru. Krishna Preetha received a scholarship through out her B. Tech course from SASTRA university. She holds a B. Tech degree in Bio Informatics and is now pursuing an MBA.

Vinodini Sekar, an aspiring young Bharathnatyam dancer , is a devoted disciple of Kalaimamani Guru Smt. Charulatha Jayaraman. Right from her Arangapravesam, she has been participating in various group performances with her Guru. A dedicated student of “Shrishti” Vinodini is assisting in taking classes in Trichy.
Her Solo Performances include, VDS Arts Academy - Chennai, Kapali Fine Arts - Chennai, Tamil Sangam- Trichy,Centenary Celebrations of I.O.B, Trichy, Navarathiri Festival-Thiruengoimalai. Of the several Performances she has given with her guru, her most memorable ones are Navratri Utsav organized by the Government of Srilanka, Dhauli Mahotsav at Bhubaneshwar, LBSNAA at Mussoorie, ‘South Asian Travel and Tourist Exchange’( SATTE 2002) at New Delhi, IGNFA- Indira Gandhi National Forest Academy- Deharadun, Chithirai Festival-Madurai, IICPT Tanjore and South Indian Poets' Meet at Tirur.
She was awarded the title “Natya Sudarozhi” by Trichy Tamil Isai Sangam. She has won the best outgoing student award from Cauvery college for women,Trichy. She won the first place in Bharathanatyam in "Bard Fest" in 2009 and second place in 2008 competing against students from more than 75 colleges.(competition for all colleges affiliated under Bharathidasan University). She has also won the first place in more than 7 inter-collegiate western dance contests.
Dhanusha Krishnamoorthy
Dhanusha Krishnamoorthy , daughter of late Sri B.Krishnamoorthy [alias NIVEDHA writer]
has a great passion for Bharathanatyam . She is an ardent disciple of Guru Smt.Charulatha Jayaraman.
She had her Arangetram at Vani Mahal in 2008. She has participated in several group performances
of "Shrishti'".Her group performances include Sivarathiri festival - Sri Akilandeshwari Temple-Trichy , Tiruppatur , Sri Ayyarappan temple -Tiruvaiyaru ,Brahan Natyanjali - Tanjavur , Sri Mayurnathaswamy Temple
- Mayuram, Navratri festival - Shozhamanagar, Lal Bahadur Shastri National Academy of Administration -Mussourie .
She is a student of SBSM school Chennai . Dhanusha is an active participant in all the cultural activities
at her school and has been widely appreciated for her performances. Music and glass painting are her other areas of interest. She aspires to learn nattuvangam in the future.
Sayujya Ravichandran is one among aspiring students of Smt. Charulatha Jayaraman. She evinces keen interest in taking part in all the activities of her dance school and is part of the performing team of Shrishti. She had her arangetram in the year 2008. Presently a student of St.Joseph's anglo Indian Girls' Higher secondary school, she excels in academics and demonstrates excellent leadership traits. Drawing, speech, quizzing, shuttle and badminton are some of her favorite extra-curricular activities that has endowed her with various awards and prizes. She seeks the blessings of the almighty and her Guru to pursue her dreams in the field of art.
Prashanthi Rajappa, a committed student of Smt. Charulatha Jayaraman had her arangetram in 2006 at Devar mandram, Trichy. She considers herself extremely proud to be associated with Shrishti. Some of her solo performances include Navratri celebrations-Akilandeshwari temple, Tiruvanaikaval, Dance and music festival-Thaayumanava and Uchipillaiyar temple-Trichy. Her programmes with her Guru and fellow students of Trichy are Gandhi Jayanti celebrations,RR sabha, Dhauli Mahotsav-Orissa, Dance festival-Music college, Chennai,Viswam fine arts-Vani Mahal,Chennai,Mangani festival-Karaikkal,Felicitation to Smt. Indira Rajan-Kartik Fine arts-Chennai. Apart from doing exceedingly well in academics, she has won laurels for her school in various inter-school competitions. She has won prizes in Speech competitions, English drama, music and drawing. Prashanthi is pursing her vocal classes under Guru Smt. Chandrika and violin classes under Guru Smt. Padma.
Selvi K. Priyadarshini – daughter of MR. B. Kalaichelvam & Mrs. K. Kangalakshmi is a student of Kamala Niketan Montessori School - Trichy.
She is a devoted student of Guru Smt. Charulatha Jayaraman. She has been learning Bharthanatyam for the past 8 years at Shrishti – School of Bharathanatyam. She has participated in group productions of Shrishti that include Cholamanagar Navaratri Festival – 2006, 2007, 2008, Gunaseelam Temple 2008, Shivratri Utsav – Tirupatoor, Koviloor Mutt & Thanjai Periya Kovil.
She has won several prizes in dance competitions at Erode, Trichy etc., Priyadharshini has been recognized as an all rounder of her class for the past 5 years by her school. She aims to excel both in academics and in the field of dance with her Guru’s blessings.
